Well – how can I convince
you that Slovenia should be your holiday destination? I had no
intention of buying a property abroad, but I simply fell in love with the
Julian Alps in
the north west of this small, rural country.
I found that the impressive mountains and scenic valleys weren’t
full of touristy towns and resorts, instead natural villages and
small businesses cater for tourists in a minor way, leaving nature to
provide the spectacle.
Friendly faces are to be found wherever you go, and almost everyone
speaks some sort of English (and if you speak German you’ll find
yourself with new friends left, right and centre!).
